Refund Policy

How subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work at Mixl.

Last updated: July 7, 2026.

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to the Mixl Service, operated by D Is For Family LLC(“Mixl,” “we,” or “us”). It is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Service.

1. All sales are final

Except as expressly stated below or as required by applicable law, all payments for the Service are non-refundable and all sales are final. Because Mixl is a digital service delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, changes of mind, or lack of use.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of that period.

3. SLA-breach exception

The one exception to Section 1 is a breach by us of the Service Level Agreement in Section 9 of our Terms of Service. You may be eligible for a service credit or a refund of the affected billing period if:

  • the Service falls below its 99.9% monthly availability commitment (excluding the carve-outs listed in the SLA, such as scheduled maintenance, third-party or vendor outages, and force-majeure events); or
  • you report a material defect in the Service in writing and we fail to remediate it or provide a workaround within the 24-hour target.

Where an outage or defect is significant and attributable to the Service, we will review the matter in good faith. The extent, eligibility, and form of any remedy — including whether it takes the form of a service credit or a refund, and its amount — are determined by the Mixl team in our sole and reasonable discretion, and our determination is final. Any such credit or refund is your sole and exclusive remedy for the SLA failure.

4. How to request

To request a refund under Section 3, email legal@trymixl.com within 30 days of the event, with your account email and a description of the issue and its timing. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe); processing times are set by the processor and your bank.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer — we can usually resolve billing issues directly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account under our Terms.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you may have under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. Where such laws apply, they control to the extent of any conflict.
